How we plan to use our funds.
Paying for service providers: Some of the service providers we work with require payment. Your financial contribution will help get those service providers to the Resource Center on a regular basis.
Purchasing survival supplies: We hand out survival supplies at our Resource Center and while doing outreach. These include, but are not limited to the following: tents, sleeping bags, clothing, food, water, hygiene supplies, harm reduction supplies, cooking supplies, etc.
Maintaining our current work & supporting our volunteers: We need storage space for our items, rental vans, software that helps to make our work easier, gas money, etc.
DONATIONS
We also accept certain donated items for the Resource Center such as shopping bags and gently used clothing. Please contact us if you have items you'd like to donate!
wishlist
One of the popular stations at the monthly Resource Center is the "special requests" table where guests can submit requests for items they need but have a hard time accessing. For example, a pet carrier, specialty hygiene supplies or a certain type of battery. We set up this Amazon wishlist to help fulfill these requests. Anything you purchase on this list will go straight to the special requests table the following month.
